Official: Alexandru Maxim moves to Turkey on loan

Mainz have sent Alexandru Maxim out on loan until the end of the season.

Alexandru Maxim has left Mainz to join Gaziantep FK on loan, the two clubs have announced.

The offensive midfielder will make the move to Turkey on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Maxim has been limited to just six appearances in a Mainz shirt during the 2019/20 season.

The 29-year-old has played a total of 56 games for Mainz with five goals and give assists to his name.
