Hertha BSC will have to do without Maximilian Mittelstädt for the rest of the season, the club have announced ahead of their Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.

The 23-year-old will be sidelined until further notice after contracting glandular fever.

Mittelstädt has made 28 appearances this season with one goal and five assists to his name.

On the positive side for Hertha, Marvin Plattenhardt and Matheus Cunha are both back in the squad following injury breaks. Plattenhardt is in the starting eleven while Cunha is one the bench.
