Frankfurt boss Fredi Bobic responds to report that Kevin Trapp could leave the club

Kevin Trapp hasn't been put on the market, but like any other Eintracht Frankfurt player, he isn't 'unsaleable', says club boss Fredi Bobic.
Eintracht Frankfurt boss Fredi Bobic has reacted to a report from Bild claiming that Kevin Trapp would be allowed to leave the club for around €7 million.

"I haven't put Kevin Trapp on the market. We are not dissatisfied with him. He's our number one. The big competition here pushes Kevin. He's a face for Eintracht Frankfurt. There's no real goalkeeper market right now, but we know that players like Kevin are always in demand," Bobic told Bild.

"At Frankfurt, nobody has ever been unsaleable. But at the same time, we don't say everyone can go," the Frankfurt boss said.

Asked about potential arrivals, Bobic responded:

"There will be lot of bargains, and you have to be patient. Three leagues and the Champions League are still underway. There will be a separate market for big transfers like [Leroy] Sané. That's not where we are. We're looking for the rough diamonds."

Frankfurt announced their first and only summer signing so far in January after coming to an agreement with Sparta Rotterdam for 21-year-old striker Ragnar Ache.
