Hoffenheim interested in Sebastian Hoeneß

TSG Hoffenheim are looking to FC Bayern II coach Sebastian Hoeneß after dismissing Alfred Schreuder back in June.
Sebastian Hoeneß, the nephew of former FC Bayern president Uli Hoeness, made an impressive run this year leading the Bayern Amateurs to Third Division Champions. This has led to many watchful eyes around the Bundesliga, including his uncle’s.

In a recent interview on television show "Der Sonntags-Stammtisch", Uli Hoeneß sat down with Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic and had this to say when asked about reports linking his nephew with Hoffenheim, as per Sport Bild:

"They (Hoffenheim) have to make this decision all by themselves, one way or another, because I consider myself biased in this matter.”

Sebastian Hoeneß guided FC Bayern II to their highest finish ever in the Third Division, as well as this highest finish ever for a reserve team.

Paris Saint-Germain assistant Zsolt Löw has also been linked with the vacant coaching role at Hoffenheim.
