Eintracht Frankfurt will be without Evan N'Dicka for their Bundesliga opener against Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday.
The 21-year-old centre-back is expected to be out for a 'number of weeks' after sustaining a high ankle sprain during Saturday's 2-1 win over 1860 München in the DFB-Pokal, the club said on Tuesday.
Japanese veteran Makoto Hasebe could fill in for N'Dicka, who formed a three-man defence with Martin Hinteregger and David Abraham against 1860 München.
N'Dicka made a total of 34 appearances last season, racking up two goals and two assists.
