FC Bayern München confirms that their loan deal for Juventus Turin's Douglas Costa has been successfully concluded. The winger returns to the German giants on a year-long-loan. The Bavarians will pay the complete salary of the Brazilian in the coming year.

Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic happily enumerated all of his wingers in a club press release. "We now have Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman, Jamal Musiala, and Douglas out wide up top. This gives [Hansi Flick] the chance to rotate individual starts sensibly. Douglas is familiar with Bayern and will find his way around quickly again."

Costa himself also issued a statement. "I'm very happy to be allowed to play for Bayern again," the 30-year-old declared, "I had a wonderful time playing in Munich. There were many successes and I'm sure that we'll win still more titles."
