Götze wants to return to the national team
Having just signed for PSV, Mario Götze has targeted a return to the German national team.
Mario Götze hasn't played for the German national team since 2017.
But the attacking midfielder, who scored the winner in the World Cup final in 2014, hasn't given up hope that he will get to represent 'Die Mannschaft' again in the future.
"I definitely want to return to the national team," Götze said at his official presentation as a PSV player on Thursday.
"I am just 28 years old. I still have great ambitions," he added.
After leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season, Götze signed a two-year deal with PSV on Tuesday.
