Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke admits Jadon Sancho isn't 'unsellable'

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke doesn't want to rule out selling Jadon Sancho if the price is right.
Jadon Sancho was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United during the summer transfer window, but stayed at Borussia Dortmund after the two clubs failed to come to an agreement.

In an interview with ZDF, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke refused to rule out selling Sancho, but reiterated that the German club don't want to compromise on their asking price.

"I already heard in the spring that Sancho would be gone. I read that everywhere. But he is still here," Watzke told ZDF and added:

"We simply had an agreement with the player. Maybe a club that wanted him misjudged the situation and thought we were willing to compromise. We had a clear line and that will also be the case next summer.

"In this day and age, you can never say that a player is unsellable. But it's also fully clear that we don't want to let anyone go."

Sancho's contract with Dortmund expires in 2023.
