Report: Denis Zakaria and Florian Neuhaus top Bayern's shopping list for the 2021/22 season

Bayern München have reportedly set their sights on Gladbach midfielders Denis Zakaria and Florian Neuhaus as they look to strengthen their squad for the 2021/22 season.
Bayern München are interested in Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielders Denis Zakaria and Florian Neuhaus, according to a report from Sport Bild.

The German publication claims the Bavarians have already started identifying transfer targets for the 2021/22 season and that the two Gladbach players are top of the list.

Zakaria's contract expires in 2022, and Gladbach are currently understood to be in talks with the midfielder over a new deal.

Should Zakaria turn down a contract extension, 'Die Fohlen' will most likely cash in on the Swiss international, who would cost at least €40 million.

Florian Neuhaus, who has become a regular Germany international in 2020, is unlikely to cost any less since his contract runs until 2024.

Above all, FC Bayern coach Hansi Flick is said to be a big fan of the native Bavarian, who has refused to rule out a switch to Allianz Arena.

According to Sport Bild's report, Stade Rennes' Eduardo Camavinga and Inter's Lucien Agoumé, both 18 years old, are considered alternatives to the two Gladbach midfielders.
