Report: Frankfurt prepared to flash cash in pursuit of Serie A striker

Italian transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio reports that Eintracht Frankfurt currently engage in deep negotiations to acquire striker Andrea Pinamonti from Inter Milan.
There can be no question that Fredi Bobic and Bruno Hübner absolutely must find another striker for the SGE before the January transfer window is out. Reports surfacing in the Italian media, relayed via Germany's transfermarkt.de, suggest that the Hesseners are preparing to deep dig into their pockets to make it happen.

The player in question, often loaned-out Italy U21 star Andrea Pinamonti, will be acquired from Antonio Conté's Inter Milan on a loan. The Serie A club attaches conditions, however. The SGE must assume full responsibility for the 21-year-old's wages. Furthermore, an automatic purchase clause must be bound to the agreement.

Reports suggest a purchase amount of around €14-15 million in addition to a loan fee around €1.8 million. Italy's Gianluca di Marzio reports that the Bundesliga side have agreed in principle to all three of the demands.

A possible stumbling block to deal remains. Pinamonti is not said to be enthusiastic about leaving Italy.
