Angelino ruled out of Leipzig's Pokal fixture
RB Leipzig head-coach Julian Nagelsmann conveyed that the club wouldn't chance it with talismanic attacker Angelino in tomorrow evening's Pokal fixture.
At a Tuesday press conference, many of the question's directed at RB's trainer concerned the status of Spanish star Jose "Angelino" Tasende. After the 24-year-old expressed his dissatisfaction about being held out of the squad over the weekend, Julian Nagelsmann revealed in a post-match interview that the team's medical staff deemed that a small muscle hemorrhage rendered it unsafe to deploy the player.
Nagelsmann reiterated his support for the diagnosis on Tuesday.
"Angelino will still be out," the 33-year-old trainer told the press corps, "He simply has a small muscle injury that will not allow him to play tomorrow night."
