Nübel linked with Dortmund move

Borussia Dortmund are said to be interested in Alexander Nübel, who's not happy with his situation at Bayern München.
Borussia Dortmund have reportedly emerged as suitors for Bayern München second-choice goalkeeper Alexander Nübel.

According to Sport1, 'Die Schwarzgelben' are one of two Bundesliga clubs interested in the 24-year-old, who has also attracted interest from French Ligue 1 sides AS Monaco and Olympique Marseille.

Nübel has been limited to just three appearances since joining Bayern from Dortmund's local rivals Schalke 04 last summer, and the 24-year-old's agent, Stefan Backs, recently reiterated that his client wants to play more or head out on loan this summer.

Dortmund are understood to be on the lookout for a new number one this summer and have been linked with a host of goalkeepers, including Peter Gulacsi (RB Leipzig), Gregor Kobel (Stuttgart), Odisseas Vlachodimos (Benfica), Bartlomiej Dragowski (Fiorentina) and Mike Maignan (Lille).

Per Sport1, Wolfsburg goalkeeper Koen Casteels is on their list as well.
