Report: Bayern to let Oliver Batista Meier leave on free, multiple FC Bayern II actors headed for exit

Germany's Bild Zeitung reports that FC Bayern prospect Oliver Batista Meier has no future with the record champions after a disappointing loan in the Erdevisie.

As expected, FC Bayern II's relegation to the fourth-tier should also lead to the departure of many of the other youngsters returning from loan.
Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that German giants FC Bayern München are prepared to allow 20-year-old winger Oliver Batista Meier depart on a free this summer. The Kaiserslautern native, loaned out to SC Heerenveen at the beginning of the 2020/21 season, fell out of favor with SCH head-coach Johnny Jansen after a strong start in the Erdevisie. Limited action during the second half of the campaign saw his market value fall from €1.5 to €650,000.

"Bild" reports that the club sees no further prospects in the first team for the former Germany U17 international and the player himself has no desire to play in the Regionalliga following the relegation of FC Bayern II. The drop down to the fourth footballing tier continues to have ramifications for many of Bayern's young talents.

It has already been reported that the club wishes to sell Michael Cuisance, Adrian Fein, and Joshua Zirzkzee. Defender Lars Lukas Mai, due back from a loan-spell at SV Darmstadt 98, is very likely on the move to 2. Bundesliga club. It's difficult to see there being any place for goalkeeper Christian Früchtl, who spent the season at 1. FC Nürnberg either.

The Bayern reserves won the 3. Bundesliga title in 2019/20 under current Hoffenheim trainer Sebastian Hoeneß. Their surprise relegation this year will necessitate a complete overhaul.
