Out-of-favor Freiburg defender reportedly set for Wolfsburg move

Out-of-favor SC Freiburg defender Kiliann Sildillia is on the verge of joining VfL Wolfsburg, according to Braunschweiger Zeitung.
Sildillia was linked with a move to Wolfsburg last summer, but ultimately decided against a move to the Volkswagen Arena.
Instead, the move could happen this month, with Die Wölfe looking to fill the void left by Ridle Baku's imminent move to RB Leipzig.
Silidillia has been limited to just 139 minutes of football in eight matches for Freiburg this season.
The versatile defender is contracted to the Breisgau outfit until 2026.
