Rolfes declares Tah fit for Roma

Speaking to reporters at Bayer 04 Leverkusen's final training session ahead of tomorrow's Europa League semi-final fixture, Bayer sporting director Simon Rolfes confirmed that defender Jonathan Tah will be available for Thursday's match.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes told reporters on Wednesday that Jonathan Tah - carrying a knock from this weekend's league fixture against Stuttgart - would be available for tomorrow's Europa League semi-final opening leg against AS Roma.

The German international was able to fully partake in the squad's Wednesday training session. Rolfes told reporters that all players would be available to trainer Xabi Alonso tomorrow. Leverkusen seek to continue their historic undefeated season in their 47th competitive match this year.

"Everyone on the injury-watch-list is fit," Rolfes told members of the assembled media, "Everyone is available for selection. We're hoping for a courageous and fierce match from the team."
