Julian Ryerson remains a doubt for Borussia Dortmund’s upcoming Bundesliga clash with Werder Bremen on Friday.

According to Kicker, the 28-year-old could potentially miss the game at Signal Iduna Park due to a rib injury sustained during the international break.

The positive news for Dortmund is that the Norway international is only expected to be sidelined for a short period.

Ryerson left the Norway camp early after picking up the injury 16 minutes into his country’s 2-1 defeat to Wales last week.

Should he be ruled out against Werder, Maximilian Beier could deputise as the right wing-back for BVB.
