Patrik Schick has confirmed that, despite interest from other clubs, his priority is to stay at Bayer Leverkusen and sign a new contract beyond 2027.
“I want to reach an agreement with Bayer as soon as possible. I'm very happy here, I love the fans, I like my team, and of course I want to stay here,”Schick told Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger.
“There is interest from other clubs. I’d like to get it done as quickly as possible so I can have a clear mind and fully focus on football. But these kinds of talks are just part of football.”
Schick, 29, has played for Die Werkself since 2020.
