Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Borussia Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck as they look to strengthen their defence.
According to Ekrem Konur, the BVB defender is on the Reds’ centre-back shortlist alongside Murillo (Nottingham Forest), Alessandro Bastoni (Inter) and Jules Koundé (Barcelona).
The Turkish transfer insider adds that Liverpool are expected to make “significant moves” in the centre-back department over the coming transfer windows.
Schlotterbeck signed a contract extension with BVB until 2031 earlier this year, but reports have suggested that his deal includes a clause allowing him to leave for a select group of clubs for €50-60 million next summer.
