Last week, Bayern Munich announced the signing of Jonathan Tah as a free agent, with a contract set to begin on July 1st following the expiration of his deal with Bayer Leverkusen.

Since then, the Bavarians have been in negotiations with Leverkusen to bring the centre-back in a few weeks earlier so he can take part in this month’s Club World Cup.

Now, according to multiple reports, the two clubs have reached an agreement that allows Tah to join Bayern ahead of schedule.

According to Sky Germany and Bild, the fee is €800,000, potentially rising to over €1 million if Bayern perform well in the tournament.

Kicker, however, reports a higher range, suggesting the fee could end up between €2 and €4 million depending on Bayern's performances.
