The UEFA Women's Europa Cup Round of 16 ties will commence on Wednesday as Frauen-Bundesliga sides Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt will face Eredivisie Vrouwen sides Feyenoord and PSV, respectively.

Frankfurt reached the semi-final of the inaugural competition last season, and they will now hope to go further. Niko Arnautis’ side will face PSV in a game between teams currently sitting third in their respective leagues.

Frankfurt and PSV also met in the same stage last season as the German side won the tie with a 5-2 aggregate scoreline. The return leg will be played in Frankfurt on November 10th.

Wolfsburg will also face a team from Eredivisie Vrouwen as they host Feyenoord at AOK Stadion on Wednesday. The former Frauen-Bundesliga giants won their last six games in all competitions, including their two-legged victory over Sturm Graz in the Europa Cup.

Meanwhile, Feyenoord have lost four matches on the trot as they sit ninth out of ten clubs in Dutch’s top-flight. This will be the first head-to-head game between the two clubs.
