Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt took a huge step to qualifying for the quarter-final of the UEFA Women's Europa Cup with conformable victories on Wednesday. The two-time Champions League winners beat Feyenoord 7-0, while last season's semi-finalists returned home with a 2-0 advantage from PSV.

Lara Prasnikar and Cora Zicai scored braces for Wolfsburg in their dominant win over the ninth-placed Eredivisie Vrouwen side. Both players could have ended the game with hat-tricks in a dominant performance from Stephan Lerch's side from start to finish.

The fourth goal was initially given for the 21-year-old winger, but it was Feyenoord's goalkeeper Claire Dinkla who diverted Svenja Huth's corner-kick to her own net. Prasnikar opened the scoring from the penalty spot, but she was already taken off when Wolfsburg were awarded a second penalty-kick after the break.

Substitute Cecilie Floe scored her first Wolfsburg goal before forcing the second own-goal of the game. After Wolfsburg's perfect night at AOK Stadion, the return leg will be played on November 10th in Rotterdam.

Meanwhile, early goals from Hayley Raso and Laura Freigang secured a 2-0 victory for Eintracht Frankfurt away at PSV in the battle of two third-placed teams in their respective leagues.

Freigang, who could face a heavy punishment for doping violations, scored in three successive games for her club after the incident with the national team in which she was visibly emotional. Frankfurt will host PSV at Stadion am Brentanobad on November 11th.
