Amid rumours of a transfer, Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk clearly underlined the clubs admiration for Eintracht Frankfurt's Can Uzun.

“I think it's obvious that he's a very interesting player – also because he's a Turkish player," Buruk said, speaking to Sky Germany.

"Everything has to make sense – also in the case of Can Uzun. He's under contract with a very good club, we have to accept that.

"Should the conditions arise for all parties to come together, then we can very well imagine that happening.

“But of course, it has to make sense and happen with mutual respect,” Burak added, regarding potential negotiations.

Uzun is in direct talks with Galatasaray and is reportedly open to a mov, however, the transfer fee is a sticking point.

Galatasaray are willing to offer up to €40million, but Frankfurt are currently demanding at least €60million for the player contracted until 2029.
