Tuttomercatoweb reports that Werder Bremen have submitted an inquiry about Alexis Cuello from CA San Lorenzo.

According to the report, the club contacted representatives of the striker to explore the details of a potential transfer.

However, the northern Bundesliga club is not alone in its interest – second division side Hertha BSC have also shown interest.

In addition to the German clubs, AC Monza are also keen, as are CA Talleres from Argentina and CF Monterrey from Mexico.

The competition is therefore fierce for Werder Bremen, while the 26-year-old is under contract with San Lorenzo until 2027.

The growing number of interested parties thus plays into the hands of the Argentine club who will be looking to maximise their profits.

In the 2026 Argentine Primera Division, Cuello has returned 4 goals and 2 assists in 18 appearances to date.
