Werder Bremen have provided an update on Karl Hein after the goalkeeper was forced to leave the Estonian national team camp due to an injury.
Hein underwent tests in Bremen on Monday, with Werder receiving positive news as the injury to their first-choice goalkeeper was found to be less serious than initially feared.
The 24-year-old has been diagnosed with a thigh contusion and will train individually for now, with a return to team training on Thursday expected.
Hein is therefore expected to be fit for Werder Bremen’s Bundesliga clash with Borussia Dortmund on Friday.
