Michael Zetterer is on the verge of leaving Eintracht Frankfurt for Leeds United.
According to The Athletic, the Premier League club have booked a medical for Zetterer, with the transfer now nearing completion.
The 31-year-old has been given permission to leave Eintracht following the imminent arrival of Noah Atubolu from Freiburg on loan with an obligation to buy.
Zetterer is in line to become Leeds' No. 2 goalkeeper, providing competition and cover for first-choice stopper James Trafford.
The German goalkeeper joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Werder Bremen for a €6 million fee last summer and has made 28 appearances for Die Adler since his arrival.
