According to sources at BILD, it should become clear by Saturday where Bayer Leverkusen talent Kerim Alajbegović is headed.
Alongside Premier League side Chelsea and Serie A outfit Juventus, Atalanta Bergamo has suddenly re-entered the race.
After a considerable standoff over paying a transfer fee exceeding €25 million, Atalanta is now showing renewed activity.
Still, it remains to be seen whether the club is truly capable of matching a figure in the region of €35million which Chelsea could pay.
Last Friday, 24 July, Kicker.de reported that the London club were prepared to pay €30million for the Bosnian international.
