Luka Vušković has established himself as an important part of Hamburger SV's backline since joining on loan from Tottenham Hotspur last summer.

Given this, HSV are hoping to extend the 19-year-old's loan by another season.

The big question, however, is whether Tottenham will be willing to send him out on loan again – especially now that one of Europe's biggest clubs appear to be monitoring him.

According to Sky Germany, FC Barcelona have added Vušković to their transfer shortlist for the summer.

Vušković told Sport Bild in January that he expects to make a decision about his future after the World Cup this summer.

What could potentially work in Hamburger SV's favour is that a stay would give Luka Vušković the chance to play alongside his older brother, Mario Vušković, who is suspended until November due to a doping ban.
