After it was reported earlier today that Brighton & Hove Albion have withdrawn their bid for Said El Mala, a door of opportunity may have opened for another Bundesliga club.

According to the Express, El Mala's mother and agent, Sabrina, is advocating for the talented attacker to stay in Germany, campaigning for a move to Borussia Dortmund.

It is believed that the Westphalian giants – along with Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig, VfB Stuttgart, and Bayern Munich – are still looking at the promising 19-year-old.

The Express writes how “a conflict seems inevitable” now that two completely opposing interests involving FC Köln and the player's representatives clash with eachother :

Köln wants to sell him to a Premier League side for the highest possible price, while the El Mala family would prefer him to remain in the German topflight for now.

An offer of €25million from Dortmund is conceivable, which ultimately is only half of the desired minimum transfer fee that Köln want – they value him at around €50million.
