With Borussia Dortmund in regular negotiations to sign Said El Mala, 1.FC Köln are reportedly looking for a worthy replacement.

At the Geißbockheim training ground, preparations are underway for what seems to be an inevitable departure of the winger.

However, Zagłębie Lublin prospect Marcel Regula could fill the potentially vacant spot in the Cathedral City club's attack.

Sport BILD understands that FC Köln's sporting director Thomas Kessler has already initiated concrete talks to sign the Polish talent.

According to the tabloid, the transfer fee for the U-21 international will be €8million – a sum easily afforded in the event of El Mala's sale.

Incidentally, Borussia Dortmund were also interested in Regula, but they have now turned their full focus towards El Mala.
