Manuel Neuer endured a nightmare start against Augsburg on Saturday, losing possession to Robin Fellhauer, who scored just eight seconds into Bayern Munich's 2-2 draw.
After the game, Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl criticised Neuer's decision-making.
“He made a mistake, took a poor first touch, and then tried to sort it out, but he went about it in too risky a way,” Eberl said.
“We made life difficult for ourselves with a series of mistakes. Manu was involved in one of them, but so were others,” Eberl added, while lamenting Bayern's missed opportunities.
“We had enough chances to win the game anyway.”
