Hütter: Bensebaini 'not an option for the weekend'

Gladbach will still have to manage without Ramy Bensebaini when they lock horns with Wolfsburg this Saturday.
Ramy Bensebaini has been ruled out of Borussia Mönchengladbach's trip to Wolfsburg this Saturday.

The 26-year-old has missed Gladbach's last three games due to a groin injury, and the upcoming game comes too soon for him.

"Bensebaini has trained individually, but still isn't an option for the weekend," said Gladbach coach Adi Hütter at the pre-match press conference, providing an update on his squad.

"Yann Sommer did some recovery work today, but will train as normal again tomorrow," he added.

With Bensebaini still out, Tony Jantschke is likely to continue in a three-man backline alongside Matthias Ginter and Nico Elvedi, with youngsters Joe Scally and Luca Netz playing as wing-backs.
