Salzburg boss rules out January transfer for Adeyemi amid Bundesliga links

Karim Adeyemi will go nowhere in January, underlines RB Salzburg boss Christoph Freund.
RB Salzburg and Germany forward Karim Adeyemi has been linked with a host of Europe's top clubs, including the likes of Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund.

It has even been suggested that Adeyemi could be on the move in January, but RB Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund has now made it clear that the 19-year-old will remain in the Austrian capital under the end of the season at least.

"Karim will finish the season with us. He should fill this role he has right now for the whole season. That is clearly the main focus in Karim's mind and also in ours," Freund told Sky Austria.

"I don't know what would have to happen, what scenario would have to occur for Karim not to finish the season with us."

Adeyemi has scored 14 goals in 18 games for Salzburg this season.
