Could Bayern vs. Gladbach be postponed due to COVID-19?

Sky Germany reports that it's uncertain if Friday's Bundesliga game between Bayern München and Gladbach will take place.
Friday's Bundesliga game between Bayern München and Borussia Mönchengladbach is in danger of being postponed, according to Sky Germany.

The German champions have been hit hard by a COVID-19 outbreak ahead of the second half of the season, with a total of eight Bayern players currently in quarantine after testing positive.

As a result of this, talks with the German Football League (DFL) over the potential postponement of the match are in full swing, per Sky.

"It is very complicated and still unclear whether Bayern can play on Friday. But there mustn't be anything major happening in training now," said Sky reporter Torben Hoffmann.

Unless Bayern have at least 15 eligible players, including nine outfield players from the first team and one goalkeeper, the game could be delayed to a later date by the DFL.

Bayern only had 10 outfield players in training today, but head coach Julian Nagelsmann could have 14 players at his disposal on Friday if the likes of Niklas Süle and Leon Goretzka, who were missing today, are fit enough to play.

Leroy Sané, Dayot Upamecano, Manuel Neuer, Omar Richards, Kingsley Coman, Corentin Tolisso, Lucas Hernandez, Tanguy Nianzou have all tested positive for COVID-19.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Bouna Sarr are not available because of their involvement at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Josip Stanisic will miss out through injury while Leon Goretzka is a doubt.
