Reus doubtful for Hoffenheim game
Marco Reus is a doubt for Borussia Dortmund's upcoming game against Hoffenheim after he was subbed off during Tuesday's DFB-Pokal clash with Werder Bremen.
Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus is doubtful for Saturday's Bundesliga clash against Hoffenheim.
The 29-year-old was subbed off at half-time during Tuesday's DFB-Pokal game against Werder Bremen due to a thigh problem.
"I can't say yet if I can play against Hoffenheim," Reus told German media after the game.
Borussia Dortmund didn't want to take a risk on Reus, said sporting director Michael Zorc.
"The risk was too big. I don't think it's that bad," he explained.
Werder Bremen eliminated Borussia Dortmund from the DFB-Pokal as they won on penalties after the game ended 3-3 after extra time.
