Serbia coach compares Luka Jovic to Luis Suarez
Eintracht Frankfurt's Luka Jovic has been compared to FC Barcelona star Luis Suarez by Serbia coach Mladen Krstajić.
Serbia coach Mladen Krstajić has likened Eintracht Frankfurt's rising star Luka Jovic to FC Barcelona's Luis Suarez.
Krstajić has hailed the qualities of the Serbian international who has been highly impressive this season, scoring 22 goals in 36 appearances for Frankfurt.
"I think you can compare him to Barcelona's Luis Suarez. He's a classic striker who is very good with the ball at his feet and who understands the game really well," Krstajić told t-online.de.
"He is courageous and dangerous at any time, because he's always on the lookout for his chance and ready to take advantage of even the slightest mistake from the opponent," the Serbia coach added.
Jovic has attracted interest from the likes of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, and Krstajić trusts the striker to make a good decision on his future in cooperation with Frankfurt.
"He should continue his great develpment. Then he'll make the right decision together with Frankfurt. I'm convinced of that," Krstajić said.
"I wish him all the best and the greatest possible success. It's clear that he has tremendous potential. He can achieve great things," he underlined.
Jovic is currently on loan from Benfica, but Frankfurt have made it clear that they intend to take advantage of a purchase option to tie the 21-year-old down to a permanent deal.
