Mats Hummels reportedly turned down Manchester United to join Dortmund
Apparently, Manchester United were interested in Mats Hummels, but he opted for a move to Borussia Dortmund.
Mats Hummels rejected interest from Manchester United to join Borussia Dortmund from Bayern München, Bild reports.
According to the German news outlet, 'The Red Devils' showed great interest in signing the 30-year-old.
Hummels could have earned more in England, but preferred to return to Dortmund. At his former club, the centre-back will reportedly earn €10 million a year – an amount that could grow to €12 million including bonuses.
Dortmund will reportedly pay €38 million including bonuses to bring Hummels back to Signal Iduna Park.
