Negotiations between Werder Bremen and Augsburg about Michael Gregoritsch are ongoing, says the player's father.
Werder Bremen are in negotiations with Augsburg about signing Michael Gregoritsch, the player's father, Werner Gregoritsch, has told Bild.
According to Werner Gregoritsch, Werder coach Florian Kohfeldt has made it clear he wants to bring the Austrian international to Weserstadion.
"The two clubs are in negotiations, that's all I can say. Michael knows that Kohfeldt would like to sign him. I'm sure that a decision will be made in a week or two," Werder Gregoritsch said.
Werder hope that Michael Gregoritsch will be able to replace Max Kruse who has left the club on a free transfer.
According to Bild, the 25-year-old has informed Augsburg that he wants to join Werder.
