FC Köln's Jhon Cordoba has singled out Mats Hummels as Borussia Dortmund's best player and as the toughest defender he has been up against in his career, along with Sergio Ramos.
When asked who he sees as Dortmund's best player ahead of Köln's clash with BVB on Friday evening, the striker told Goal and Spox:
"Mats Hummels. Definitely. He's the best defender I've faced in my career so far, along with Sergio Ramos. He's so strong in terms of both playing ability and duels – so dominant. When he's on the ball, you hardly have a chance to win it as an offensive player."
Hummels, 30, has featured in both of Dortmund's games this season until now after returning to Signal Iduna Park from Bayern München this summer.
