Dietmar Hamann urges Dortmund to sell Jadon Sancho 'as soon as possible'

Dietmar Hamann has advised Borussia Dortmund to get rid of Jadon Sancho in January.
Dietmar Hamann believes Borussia Dortmund would be wise to cash in on Jadon Sancho as soon as possible.

The 19-year-old has been involved in a number of disciplinary incidents this season and was most recently benched for Dortmund's midweek clash with Barcelona, with reports claiming he was punished for being late to a team meeting.

And according to Hamann, it would be best for all parties if Sancho left the club in January.

"Sancho has shown a lack of respect for the other players, the coach and the club. You have to see if someone will be willing to spend big on him in the winter, so BVB can sell him and get some more peace. If it were up to me, would sell him as soon as possible. The sooner the better," Hamann wrote in a column for Sky.

Sancho has made 18 appearances for BVB this season, racking up six goals and nine assists.
