Official: Gladbach youngster moves to Austria on loan
Andreas Poulsen has joined Austria Wien on loan from Gladbach until the end of the season.
Borussia Mönchengladbach youngster Andreas Poulsen has completed a move to Austria.
'Die Fohlen' have announced that the 20-year-old has joined Austria Wien on a loan deal until the end of the season.
"We have a lot of strong competition in his position right now with Oscar Wendt and Ramy Bensebaini. It's important for Andreas to get match practice at a high level, which is what we expect him to get with this loan to a big Austrian club," said Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl, as quoted by the club.
Gladbach paid €4,5 million to bring the full-back to Germany from Danish side FC Midtjylland in 2018.
The Danish under-21 international is yet to make his first-team debut for Marco Rose's side.
