Peter Bosz highlights importance of early goals as Leverkusen cruise to the DFB-pokal final
"If you score two goals within 30 minutes in a such a game, it's really important," Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz said after Tuesday's DFB-Pokal semi-final win over Saarbrücken.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz believes it was important that his side scored two early goals in Tuesday's 3-0 win over fourth-tier side Saarbrücken in the DFB-Pokal semi-final.
Moussa Diaby and Lucas Alario scored in the beginning of the game before Karim Bellarabi added a third goal just short of the hour mark as Leverkusen booked their place in the final.
"If you play against a fourth-division club, everybody expects you to win. In the end, that's what we did. I think we were serious and played well from the beginning. If you score two goals within 30 minutes in a such a game, it's really important. I think the boys did well," Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz said in a post-match interview.
Bayern München and Eintracht Frankfurt lock horns in the other semi-final on Wednesday.
