Report: Dimitris Limnios in Germany, transfer to Köln nearly finalized

Pending a successful medical, Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln should be able to showcase a new addition later this evening.
Over two weeks after terms were agreed, 1. FC Köln managing director Horst Heldt should be able to introduce his new winger today. A positive COVID test kept the 22-year-old winger stranded in Greece, unable to fly to Germany for his medical.

Germany's Bild newspaper has now caught him arriving at the airport in Düsseldorf. German footballing magazine Kicker confirms that he is on the way to Köln for his medical and the transfer will be completed today.

Reported terms are €3.3 million to be paid to Limnios' Greek club of PAOK. Kicker also reports that the Greek organization will also reap 15 percent of proceeds in the event of a resale.
