Hoffenheim lose Rudy for weeks, Akpoguma may also be sidelined indefinitely

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim can apparently add both Sebastian Rudy and Kevin Akpoguma to the long-term injured list. Rudy's status has already been confirmed by the club. German footballing magazine Kicker reports that Akpoguma's will follow soon.
Both players forced to exit early with injuries in Hoffenheim's 1-3 loss to Freiburg over the weekend are set to miss several weeks. The club revealed on Sunday that Midfielder Sebastian Rudy had suffered a serious knee ligament strain and would be likely be ruled out for the rest of the month.

Less has been revealed about Akpoguma's injury, but it is known that that it's related to a tendon on his left thigh. Kicker speculates that, if it involves an anterior tendon, the defender could be out for the long haul.
