Choupo-Moting and Müller rue missed chances after PSG defeat

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thomas Müller were frustrated with Bayern's wastefulness in front of goal following Wednesday's 2-3 loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
Bayern München forwards Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thomas Müller rued missed chances after Wednesday's 2-3 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Bayern had 31 shots to PSG's six, but were made to pay for their missed chances as they suffered a painful home defeat.

"We just didn't score enough chances and unfortunately conceded too many," said Choupo-Moting, who scored Bayern's first goal, in an interview with Sky (via UEFA).

"I saw the statistics. It's crazy. On another day, we score five or six, for sure. It's really frustrating. It was a great fight this evening. It's a shame we couldn't reward ourselves – we came back well.."

Müller, who made it 2-2 for Bayern before Kylian Mbappé won the game for PSG, commented:

"We have to score a lot more. You can always talk about the goals you concede but I think nobody could have had any complaints had we won 5-3 or 6-3. Somehow we shot ourselves in the foot. Now we have to come from behind."
