Report: Edin Terzic turns down interest from Frankfurt

Edin Terzic is said to have turned down an offer to become new Eintracht Frankfurt coach.
Borussia Dortmund interim coach Edin Terzic will not be succeeding Adi Hütter as Eintracht Frankfurt head coach, according to both the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger and Bild.

Terzic is understood to have turned down interest from Frankfurt because he doesn't want to depart Dortmund for a direct competitor.

Accordingly, the 38-year-old could stay at Signal Iduna Park to work as an assistant for Marco Rose, who will leave Gladbach to take the reins as BVB head coach this summer.

Meanwhile, Frankfurt's search for a replacement for Gladbach-bound Adi Hütter continues. With Terzic out of the race, Wolfsburg coach Oliver Glasner is seen as the favorite to take over the job after falling out with his boss, Jörg Schmadtke.
