Tuchel confirms Musiala, Sané, and Kane remain out for Wolfsburg

FC Bayern München trainer Thomas Tuchel had plenty of unfortunate injury news to convey at a Saturday presser.

Two German internationals look unlikely to play for their club again this season.

Bayern will also be without Harry Kane in tomorrow's league encounter against Wolfsburg.

A trio of players struggling with injury that Bayern trainer Thomas Tuchel had to sub off early on Wednesday against Real Madrid are almost certainly not options for tomorrow's league fixture against Wolfsburg. Tuchel conveyed this at a Saturday pre-match presser, noting he didn't think that Leroy Sané, Jamal Musiala, and Harry Kane would feature in his final home match as FCB coach.

Looking ahead to the season finale in Sinsheim next week, Tuchel signaled that Sané (pubic bone issues) and Musiala (knee problems) "probably won't feature in the last match either". Both players are dealing with persistent pain. There was already bad news out of the Bayern camp yesterday when it was revealed that Serge Gnabry will probably miss the Euros.Musiala and Sané risk missing out as well.

Regarding Kane, the star English striker has been experiencing back issues. The most expensive Bundesliga signing has scored 36 league goals this season and will be presented with the coveted "Kicker Torjägerkanone" following Bayern's season finale next week whether he's fit enough to play. It now appears almost impossible for him to break Robert Lewandowski's 2020/2021 season record of 41 goals in one campaign this year.
