According to the website 90min, one alternative to Newcastle United's Anthony Gordon for Bayern Munich is said to be Marcus Rashford.

The 28-year-old currently on loan at Barcelona, is still under contract with Manchester United, but has no future at the Premier League club.

Moving to the Catalan giants has given the winger a new lease of life, contributing a total of 25 goals in 43 appearances this season.

It's worth noting Barcelona holds a €30million purchase option to buy him, but whether they will exercise it remains to be seen.

Rashford's versatility is a major advantage for Bayern – similar to Gordon, he can play both on the wing and as a central striker.

Furthermore, Rashford is no stranger to Bayern and has been repeatedly linked with a move to Munich in the past.

Regardless, Gordon is still their preferred option and Rashford seen as a possible Plan B, so the Bavarians are prepared for several scenarios.
