Union winger unhappy with lack of playing time

Sheraldo Becker is growing frustrated by his lack of playing time at Union Berlin.
Union Berlin winger Sheraldo Becker has admitted he is frustrated with his current substitute role.

Becker played 18 league games for Union and racked up three goals and three assists during the 2020/21 campaign, which saw him miss most of the second half of the season with an ankle injury.

So far, the 26-year-old has played just 28 minutes of Bundesliga football this season, and he's not happy with that.

"It's a tough situation for me," Becker admitted in an interview with Bild and continued:

"I showed last year what I can do for the team. I haven't played much recently.

"This is really hard for me, especially when I look at what I did on the pitch last season. And now I'm sitting on the bench. I want to play every game."
