Report: Hertha put talks with Stark on ice

Kicker claims that Hertha BSC have put talks with defender Niklas Stark on hold.
Hertha BSC's contract talks with Niklas Stark, whose current deal expires in 2022, have been put on ice for the time being, according to Kicker.

Shortly after taking office in the summer, Hertha managing director for sport Fredi Bobic opened talks with Stark's representatives, but apparently there has been no contact between them for the last four weeks.

Kicker reports that both parties currently want to wait and see how things develop in the weeks to come.

Stark joined Hertha from Nürnberg in 2015 and has gone on to make 177 appearances with seven goals and four assists to his name.

He has played every minute for the club this season.
