Wirtz declares himself fit to face Bochum
Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Florian Wirtz is ready to make his return from injury against Bochum this Saturday.
Florian Wirtz has declared himself fit for Bayer Leverkusen's Bundesliga game against VfL Bochum on Saturday.
The 18-year-old is back in full training after missing his side's last game before the international break due to an injury.
"I definitely feel like playing on Saturday," Wirtz told Kicker.
Leverkusen coach Gerardo Seoane will also be able to count on the services of Karim Bellarabi again, but Lucas Alario and Patrik Schick are unlikely to make the starting eleven after injury layoffs.
Julian Baumgartlinger, Mitchel Bakker and Timothy Fosu-Mensah remain sidelined as well.
